Obama Gone Wrong

He's done everything wrong

  • The Air Force One New York City photo opportunity.  Aside from the significant price tag ($329,000), this publicity stunt in April 2009 caused panic around Manhattan and New Jersey.  Jersey City workers experienced several injuries caused when people trampled each other trying to get out of tall buildings.  The Emergency costs associated with these injuries was not included in the $329k costs identified by the White House.
  • The Obama's May 2009 date night in NYC.  This little stunt cost the American taxpayers in excess of $250k.  This all coming with unemployment levels near all-time highs, government spending far exceeding their revenues and with several wars going on.  Not a good message to send.
  • Obama, the champion of every man, had as of July 2010, played 41 rounds of golf in less than 18 months in office.  GWB played 24 rounds (in 8 years), stopping because he felt that it was inappropriate given mothers were losing their sons fighting our wars.
  • Snubbing the Sarkosy's.  France has been a staunch ally and supporter to the U.S. for as long as we can remember.  Yet, as soon as the Obama's take up residence in the White House, they go on quite the little snubbing streak of the French leader and his wife.  Good move when the two countries are locked in a long and heated battle with radical Islam.
  • Obamacare.  Do we really need to comment on this disaster?
  • Closing Gitmo is simply the wrong move, given the state of International Terrorism and threats both domestically and to US interests abroad.
  • The last count taken has the $787 billion stimulus package at having created exactly 3 jobs for every $1 million spent.  It would have had a more beneficial impact on the economy had he given $45k to 1.75 million people.
  • A trip to India, costing the US taxpayer almost $200million per day. (may be exaggerated, but you get the point)
  • Obama creates panel to probe stimulus waste... they convene at the Ritz in Scottsdale, AZ.  If they were serious, wouldn't they stay at a Red Roof Inn?
